patches of green family life in the pioneer valley

matt harding’s dancing video has turned into a little math and geography project here at our house.  kieron and hjordis hung up a map of the world in our kitchen and pinpointed all 69 places matt visits in his latest video! we did have to look some of those up online (and a couple are still obscure - ‘chakachino, zambia’ is a total mystery. it will take our research team a while to secure the funds for a field exploration, though…), but i was pretty impressed with how many we were able to locate just by looking at the map.

inspired by our friend river’s survey projects, kieron then counted up how many appearances matt made in each continent and played around with graphs on create-a-graph to display the results:
